was an excellent base for new year. the location was excellent and perfect, only 5 minutes walk to suijo park. it was located in a lively area adjacent to hakata or tenjin and hakata railway station.

Absolutely perfect and incredible location, fairly clean bathroom.
A lot of particularly good and delicious breakfast items to choose from. Location very close to the hip shopping mecca that is the Tenjin district, the park nearby, and Fukuoka, right between the hip shopping mecca that is the Tenjin district and Hakata railway station:)))

The twin room we stayed in was cozy with separate toilet and shower. It was in a central location close to Suijo Park. Next door, there was a great restaurant, shopping centers, and a bakery.

The room at Mitsui Garden Hotel Fukuoka Nakasu was fantastic! It had air conditioning which was a blessing during the hot weather. The free WiFi was a great bonus too. I loved the cozy feeling of the room and the flat-screen TV was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city. The complimentary toiletries in the private bathroom were a nice touch. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The only thing I didn't personally like was having to pay directly at the front desk. However, I understand that it's a common practice and it won't be a problem for everyone.
